Good health and less stress are two of the most common replies given when people are asked what elements are most important in contributing to living their best quality of life. While technology has certainly brought many positive and exciting changes to our world it has also added a higher level of stress as we are encouraged to be in a constant state of being “plugged in”. We receive warnings, reminders, emails, news updates, text messages and phone calls on a constant basis through a series of beeps, buzzes and various ringtones. It has increased the speed of life to a constant state of “on”. Increasingly people are physically seeing the effects of these changes in their physical health as modern society takes its toll on our immune systems. Stress, poor sleep habits, processed foods and environmental toxins all expose our body to challenges they are not used to facing.

The good news is that there are many wonderful, effective ways to help us live in today’s world and enjoy good health and less stress. Reiki and Aromatherapy are two valuable resources available to help improve the quality of our wellbeing.

Reiki is the pure form of healing energy called the “Universal Life Energy”. It treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit. Additionally it also helps to create feelings of peace, security and well-being. Reiki is simple, natural and safe.

Aromatherapy is easy to use in daily life and doesn’t require extensive training and also is safe and doesn’t create side effects.

Essential oils are anti-bacterial, anti-cancerous, anti-fungal, anti-infectious, anti-microbial, anti-tumoral, anti-parasitic, anti-viral and antiseptic. These attributes make them an invaluable resource for the whole family.
